We have been learning about ladybirds this week. On Monday we hardly knew anything about them and we thought of our 3 questions:
- Are all ladybirds red?
- What do ladybirds eat?
- Where do ladybirds live?

They were tricky to find !
Hayden made this great ladybird
We have been learning to double numbers in maths this week. We need to be able to say our doubles to 5 and then to 10 really quickly so it is a good thing to practise at home. Why not have a go?
On Thursday we were supposed to be going on a trip to a Sports Day at Alderman Swindell School - BUT it was raining and the event was cancelled. We did make the most of the coaches though and we went on a great trip around Gt Yarmouth looking at all the sights in the rain.
We saw lots of places that we recognised - the Sealife Centre, the Marina Centre, Joyland ........ Lots of the children recognised lots of places so it was really good fun. Thomas could even tell us the exact directions to get to Gorleston from Gt Yarmouth so if your SatNav breaks down you know who to ask for help !
Lots of our children went to Clubs again this week and they had a great time. Sidney could explain how to shoot an arrow this week because he listened so well at Archery Club. Thomas, Tony and Charlie are all fast becoming football experts.

- spiral - a pattern that goes round in a circle
- to persist - to keep going and never give up
- pair - 2 of something
Holly, Bronwen and Jessica making up stories about cats and dogs
Well happy bug hunting - see you all next week.
